AMV magnesium wheels VG are cast with the new AMV low-pressure machine made of 100% pure AZ91-Magnesium. Low pressure casting ensures a very reduced porosity. There is no air leakage. So the rim surface does not need to be coated. This improves the heat transfer and contributes to the stabilization of the tire temperature and the tire pressure.
The magnesium wheel can be further refined using the AMV OXiTECH process.

AMV OXiTECH is an innovative plasma electrolytic anodizing treatment that provides exceptional corrosion and wear protection of magnesium.
In this method, high currents are used, which generate a plasma on the workpiece surface. The micro-melting creates an oxide layer that mineralizes and densifies, thereby increasing hardness and wear resistance. The compact layer of ceramic oxides protects the magnesium from corrosion and wear. The process does not require the use of chemical substances.
